Thing Trunk announces Return 2 Games
Thing Trunk promises a return to the roots of PC gaming with the R2G game series. And it’s not retro! Teaser and preview program available now.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – WARSAW, Poland, October 29th 2015
When playing new games, do you ever sense that you’re not having as much fun as you should be? That the games don’t live up to their hype? That they’re not as engaging as the games you remember from when you were younger? Do you really have the time to master all the quests in the latest DLC of that big AAA hit game you were waiting for? And are you really spending quality time when playing the latest “Angry” mobile game during your daily commute? If any of these questions resonate with you, you’ll want to know more about R2G.
Thing Trunk has just revealed that, for the past 3 years, they have been quietly working on Return 2 Games – a series of unique mid-core games inspired by the golden days of PC gaming. There will be 7 games in total, each unique in terms of genre and theme, but all sharing the same vision. Each R2G title will be a tribute to a single hit game from the 90’s – a reimagining of a single universal story for a brand-new audience, using modern means and innovative gameplay mechanics. The newly launched teaser contains hints about the themes of first two games in the series and about the visual style developed exclusively for R2G.

About Thing Trunk
Thing Trunk is an independent gamedev studio founded by 3 guys, known for engineering their games to their fullest: Maciej Biedrzycki (co-founder of Codeminion), Konstanty Kalicki and Filip Starzyński (founders of Twinbottles).
Having created many successful games at their previous companies (most notably Saqqarah, Magic Match, Brunhilda, Phantasmat) and a few unintended flops (let’s not put names here) they quickly became disappointed with the miring trends in the casual games market. They scrapped their former brands and together founded Thing Trunk to focus solely on the ambitious Return 2 Games idea.
Thing Trunk is an independent developer based in Warsaw, Poland. The core team comprises of 5 dedicated developers and a network of talented collaborators scattered around the world.
