SUPERHOT invades Book of Demons - time moves only when you hack & slash!
Book of Demons is the first hack & slash to feature SUPERHOT mechanics- now monsters move only when you move!
FOR SUPER-IMMEDIATE RELEASE – WARSAW, Poland, April 1st, 2016
Today Thing Trunk announced a new, revolutionary feature in Book of Demons, their upcoming hack & slash - now the time in the game moves only when you move! In accordance with the generally accepted best practice, “good artists copy, great artists steal” the feature will work exactly the same way as in the super-selling, super-reviewed, super-fun and super-hot game SUPERHOT! Only this time in a hack & slash! See the video here: https://youtu.be/bBvC8RzsHT4
The new, ground-breaking functionality was officially endorsed by SUPERHOT Main Designer - Piotr Iwanicki: A SUPERHOT hack and slash is exactly what the world needed, I really have to see it in action!
Maciej Biedrzycki, Book of Demons Chief Game Architect said: We already borrowed the dungeons from Diablo, cards from Microsoft Solitaire and paper graphics from Paper Mario. Today we borrow time from SUPERHOT. Who knows from whom will we steal… ekhm, borrow next?
Tom Tomaszewski, Book of Demons Global Brand Manager, also chimed in: After Book of Demons was announced, the media coverage was terrible. Only a few blogs like Rock, Paper, Shotgun and Game Informer wrote about us - we’re desperate for media attention! One of my first decisions as Book of Demons Global Brand Manager was to make the game SUPER HOT. There's clearly no better way of doing this, than stealing SUPERHOT's main gameplay mechanic! Repeat after me: Book of Demons is SUPER HOT! SUPER HOT! SUPER HOT!

About Return 2 Games
Return 2 Games is a series of unique mid-core games inspired by the golden days of PC gaming. Thing Trunk’s plan is to build 7 games in total, each unique in terms of genre and theme, but all sharing the same vision - to make deeply engaging experiences accessible.
R2G draws inspiration from the early days of PC gaming when developers weren’t afraid to innovate, defined new genres and created the most memorable experiences. R2G games are designed to deeply engage in a matter of minutes. They explore powerful universal stories - like good vs evil - that immediately seem familiar. R2G caters even to people who don't play as much as they used to, who find casual games shallow and unengaging, and who can’t invest enough time into hardcore games to really enjoy them.

About Thing Trunk
Thing Trunk is an independent developer based in Warsaw, Poland. The core team comprises of 6 dedicated developers. The 3 founders – Filip Starzyński, Konstanty Kalicki and Maciej Biedrzycki – are casual game industry veterans who (despite a level of success) became disappointed with the miring trends in the market and scrapped their former brands (Codeminon and Twinbottles) to focus solely on the ambitious Return 2 Games idea. Since then they are trying to prove that making AAA quality content is possible in a small but experienced team with lots of passion.
